3.8 million tourists visited Sochi in 2013, said Mayor Anatoly Pakhomov, RIA Novosti reports.2.5 million of them visited the city in the summer. The local budget earned 22 billion rubles from tourism. Sochi hotels were 79% full this year.The Sochi, Zelenaya Roshcha and Metallurg sanatoriums were fully reconstructed. Roza Khutor has 3 and 5-star hotels ready for the winter season. They include the Radisson, Park Inn, Mercury, Golden Tulip, Tulip Inn and Heliopark Freestyle. The hotels have about 5,500 rooms. The Pullman and Mercury hotels opened in September 2013.The Gorki Gorod complex has 3, 4 and 5-star hotels with over 1,500 rooms. They include the Marriott, Swissotel and Capella hotels.
