Sergey Korneyev, vice president of the Russian Tourism Industry Union, told Vestnik Kavkaza that Azerbaijan had great tourism potential and could become one of the world's tourism centers.
“Baku is probably one of the best cities for tourism today, it is very comfortable, very interesting, very modern in terms of tourism infrastructure. Tourism will grow there, go uphill, a lot depends on advertising campaigns, progress. Again, Baku is a good example, I remember how the Baku Tourism Information Center is active in its events, its information material abroad, in general. I believe that the Caspian coast is just what will be developing in the 21st century, as a new world-level tourism resort. It is a matter of time,” assures Korneyev.
