Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov praised the pace of construction of the Veduchi Ski Resort in the Shatoysky and Itum-Kalinsky districts. He ordered Deputy Prime Minister Isa Tumkhajiyev to prepare the resort for guests in 2015, Interfax reports.
Veduchi covers 1100 hectares, which is a special economic zone. All facilities in the zone get tax relief for 10 years. German, Turkish and Israeli companies are interested in the zone, according to Kadyrov.
Veduchi will have a capacity for 4800 tourists. It will have over 15km of cableways. It will have the following skiing zones: Snow Park, Funny Ski Park, Beginners & Kids Ski Zone and Freeski /Freeride.
