The success of the North Caucasus tourist project fully depends on the region's image, Chairman of the Dagestani Committee for Tourism Vitaly Demchenko says.
The official said so at the Second North Caucasus Media forum held at the Arkhyz resort in Karachay-Cherkessia.
Demchenko also stressed the importance of events similar to the current forum. According to him, such projects are crucial for promoting the region and increasing its potential as a tourist attraction.
