Gelendzhik has won the Resort Olympus-2014 contest of resorts in the Krasnodar Territory. 273 bids were filed in 21 nominations this year, most of them came from Anapa, fewer from Sochi and Gelendzhik, Interfax reports.
Gelendzhik was named the best resort of the Black Sea coast, Yeysky of the Azov Sea coast, Goryachy Kluch won the contest of highland resorts. DiLUCh (Anapa) became the best sanatorium, Orlyonok All-Russian Children's Center (Tuapsinsky District) the best children's treatment center, Radisson Blu Resort & Congress Centre Sochi the best five-star hotel.
