Ingushetia develops tourism

28,000 tourists visited Ingushetia in 2014. Over 1,000 spent the New Year holidays at the Armkhi Resort. Stanislav Aristov, the head of the republican committee for tourism, said that guests were interested in the M-1 ‘Nart Battle’, ‘Battle in the Mountains’, ‘Dagger’ melee weapon festival and the ‘Ingushetia’ rally.

Tourists are attracted by the Erzi Natural Park. Aristov noted the need to restore monuments and beautify territories of the Jeyrakhsko-Assinsky Park.

Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov emphasized that tourism routes needed family cafes named after historical places and souvenir shops. They will provide the population of the Jeyrakhsky District with jobs, according to Yevkurov.
