Georgia may open free tourist zones in other regions, Georgian
Minister of Economy Vera Kobalia said after a government session,
Business Georgia reports.
She said that there is high interest in the tourist zone of Kobuleti.
The ministry received 52 requests. 15 companies will start
construction in early December.
1,000 people will be involved in construction in the first stage. Then
1,000 will work on a permanent basis, Kobalia said.
