Today, in Moscow, an event was held dedicated to Azerbaijan’s Republic Day, which is celebrated every year on May 28th in honor of the proclamation of the Azerbaijani Democratic Republic in 1918. This year marks the centennial anniversary of the ADR.
The event was organized by the Azerbaijani Embassy in Russia.
The surprise of the evening was a performance by the soloist of the Bolshoi Theater, Honored Artist of Azerbaijan Dinara Aliyeva, who received the title People's Artist of Azerbaijan the day before.
