Icheri Sheher is a gem of Baku. A lot of historical sights of the Azerbaijan capital are located in the Old Town. Its territory exceeds 220 thousand square meters. The most famous episodes 'The Diamond Arm' movie were filmed here. Icheri Sheher is surrounded by a fortified wall that protects unique architectural monuments, which became world's cultural heritage. In 1977 the Old Town was declared a historical and architectural reserve, and in 2000 it was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
