Kelbajar is called the paradise of Azerbaijan for its natural beauty: ancient caves, thousands of springs, hundreds of mineral springs, four thousand herbs, two hundred of which are medicinal, and, of course, mountains, symbolizing eternity and purity, perfection and spiritual enlightenment at all times.
The highest peaks of Kelbajar are Jamysh (3724 meters) and Delidag (3616 meters). Back in the Soviet period, Azerbaijani archaeologists realized that this amazing high-mountainous region is a kind of stone book of the past, in which only the first pages have been studied.
