WOMAD Festival to be held in Kislovodsk

The WOMAD international festival of world music will will be held in Russia for the first time in Kislovodsk on 21-22 September 2013.The festival will present a full palette of the cultures, traditions and national characters of Russia. The festival will have space both for stars and talented young musicians, who will have a unique opportunity to perform on the same stage with their senior colleagues.
WOMAD is not just a music festival. Festival guests will have the opportunity to listen to ethnic music, but also to experience the unique culture of many peoples of the world, to try their national dishes. The rich culture of the North Caucasus will be included in the festival program, and the region will be able to present it in all of its diversity.
