The Chechen Youth Union of Moscow unites students, post-graduate students, and applicants and helps them in employment and adaptation. The chairman of the Union Rustam Tapayev told Vestnik Kavkaza that his employees helped young Chechens to realize themselves in the big city and didn’t break the law.
The Chechen Youth Union has been created to bring together students and recent graduates. Its goal is to help talented young people to realize their potential, to improve their level of education, help with employment and adaptation.
The Union is engaged in cultural and educational activities, it monitors the studies of Chechen students in Moscow universities. However, it doesn't have exact figure on how many young Chechens live in Moscow, or what activities they prefer, in which higher education institutions they study, and what is their place in the crime statistics in the city.
