Arseny Nedyak, the deputy head of the Department of State Policy for the Mass Media of the Ministry of Communications and Media of Russia, and Ruslan Gattarov, a member of the Federation Council Committee for Science, Education, Culture, and Information Policy, spoke about measures against swearing on the Internet.
On July 30th the State Duma will discuss amendments to the law on protection of children from information which harms their health and development. It requires such a serious punishment for swearing as not only banning the mass media, but also the banning of accounts in social nets and websites.
