Commander of the Airborne Troops, Hero of Russia, Colonel-General Vladimir Shamanov told Vestnik Kavkaza what happened during a botched jump of the interim Head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, when he injured his leg, and how the politician feels at the moment. Shamanov assured journalists that the Head of Ingushetia will soon return to his duties.
It is planned that Yunus-Bek will take part in the celebration of the Airborne troops unit in Ingushetia. Vladimir Shamanov added that the cadet class of the Ingush Cadet Corps will take part in the competition of young paratroopers clubs to be held on Red Square.
