In Moscow, near the French embassy, a small protest of Russian citizens against Western intentions to begin armed intervention in Syria took place. The protest was approved and began at 1 p.m. Participants held banners warning France and the West off military aggression against Syria, as well as Syrian flags. Some of them held Orthodox icons.
