The head of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Security Inna Svyatenko, deputy chairman of the Duma Committee on Nationalities Valery Rashkin and chairman of the Moscow City Duma Commission on Legislation Alexander Semennikov discussed the bill that would tighten the administrative responsibility for foreigners and stateless persons. The bill states that migrant workers will be deported for two administrative violations committed during the year. Earlier, the State Duma has adopted amendments to the law "On the Road Safety", according to which since November 8, 2013 foreigners working in commercial vehicles will be required to obtain Russian driver's license. An active campaign against illegal immigration in Moscow began in late July, when there were mass revisions at the markets, and the tent city in Golyanovo for migrant workers was created.
