R. Vilfand : "Indian summer" might not come"

Director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand in an interview to VK has given the weather forecast for the residents of Moscow and the North Caucasus. Talking about the weather in Moscow, he said that "a period of very rainy weather with lots of rain is over". But, according to Vilfand, we should not hasten to rejoice. Since the end of September, in early October we will already see the sun, but the weather will be cold.

The head meteorologist explained the changes were due to the coming of an anticyclone formed in the polar regions. In this regard, an "Indian summer" will not come soon to the capital. Speaking of the North Caucasus, Roman Vilfand said that there is heavy rainfall expected there. According to him, this is due to the fact that now "a very strong mesocyclone has formed" in the Rostov region. In the Sochi region and on the Black Sea coast of Krasnodar territory significant precipitation is also expected. By all indications, September in the Black Sea region turned out to be unusually rainy.
