Demographic future of Russia

The head of the Department of Health and Population Statistics, Rosstat, Svetlana Nikitina, commented on the current demographic processes occurring in Russia and presented the results of research on issues of fertility, mortality and life expectancy in both men and women, the inflow of migrants and the reproductive plans of the population. According to the expert, the highest birthrates are observed in the national republics.
