Azerbaijan is among the top-5 of the most tolerant countries in the world, according to the website of Venividi which conducted a survey devoted to International Tolerance Day. Azerbaijan’s tolerance model is thought to be an example for the whole Muslim world and is actively discussed at various international conferences and forums. Sweden, Canada, Argentina, and Australia are also included in top-5 of the most tolerant countries of the world.
Efim Pivovar, RSUH President, historian, Associate Member of the RAS, commented on the results of the survey and spoke about importance of work provided by Azerbaijan for improvement of tolerance.
