Vladimir Zharikhin: “The golden age of the Eastern Partnership was connected with Ukraine”

Vladimir Zhirikhin, Deputy Director of the CIS Countries Institute, told Vestnik Kavkaza about expectations from the Eastern Partnership summit in Vilnius which would take place on November 28-29. According to the expert, the popularity of the Eastern Partnership is caused by the active participation and interest of Ukraine, but on November 21st the Ukrainian government postponed preparations for association with the EU, which led to a divided reaction in the country and a negative reaction from the EU.
