Intellectuals from Dagestan speak about their region

An evening devoted to the ethnic culture of Dagestan and the 200th anniversary of its accession to Russia has taken place in Moscow. Ethnic music was played, dancing groups performed and films about Dagestan were shown for the guests of the event. Folk craft products were demonstrated and guests had an opportunity to try ethnic cuisine. The event was attended by representatives of the political and creative elite of the Republic of Dagestan. They spoke about modern life in the republic.
