Renowned writer and TV presenter Edward Radzinsky has presented his new work, the novel "Prince. Notes of a Snitch," which is based on historical events and is devoted to the last decades of the Russian Empire. The book is written in the form of a diary written by Alexander II. The writer said that "in his diary the Emperor gradually acknowledges a terrible and tragic truth: in order to save the monarchy, he has to limit it." Edvard Radzinsky has worked on the novel for about nine years. However the book talks not only about Alexander II, it is also a reflection of the writer's ideas about the history of Russia.
