Shafig Pshikhachev: “We are responsible for our activity”

Shafig Pshikhachev, chairman of the International Islamic Mission, commented on a recommendation by Putin at the round-table “What Islam should exist in Russia?” Putin met muftis of Muslim spiritual departments of Russia in Ufa on 22 October. They discussed cooperation between the state and Muslim religious organizations. Putin thinks that establishing our own theological school will provide independence for the Russian spiritual space and will be recognized by the majority of Islamic scientists of the world.
