Yuri Mikhailov, the editor-in-chief of the ‘Ladomir’ center, commented on recommendations proposed at the round-table “What Islam should exist in Russia?” by the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin, which was held in Ufa on October 22 with the participation of Muslim spiritual leaders as well as subsequent proposals of the Fund for the Support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education about the development of new forms of socialization of Islam and its contacts with the state and society. The development of a constructive role of the Muslim community in solving nationwide problems in Russia, including ensuring the territorial integrity and security of the state, has also been discussed.
