Vladimir Putin: "Cossacks are not an anachronism"

During his large press conference Russian President Vladimir Putin let the Cossacks speak. The President said he did not think that the Cossacks are an anachronism, but rather the contrary, a great help to law enforcement authorities. Besides, Vladimir Putin praised the contribution of the Cossacks in the culture and history of the state.
