Pavel Astakhov: "In the Caucasus region, children are loved just for being children"

Pavel Astakhov, the Children's Rights Commissioner for the President of the Russian Federation, told us about the contribution of the North Caucasus in the struggle against the problem of orphans in the country. According to the children’s ombudsman, there’s nothing controversial about Chechen families adopting orphans from other regions, because the same process is being practiced in other territorial subjects as well.
