Vladimir Zharikhin: "We should not attempt to separate Ukraine from the EU or Russia"

Deputy Director of the Institute of CIS countries Vladimir Zharihin outlined the stages of development of the political crisis in Ukraine and the importance of preserving the integrity of the country  at any cost.In the center of Kiev, there are still clashes between the advocates of European integration who protest against the authorities’ policy, and the security forces. And, despite the negotiations of the parliamentary opposition with the President, the violence has already spread to the western regions of the country: the protesters have attacked regional administrations in Lvov, Rovno, Ternopol, Cherkassy.
