Alexander Zotov: "Syria needs a strong central power"

Political scientist and former Russian ambassador to Syria Alexander Zotov talks about the current situation in Syria and about possible scenarios for the country. On 10 February 2014 the second round of the international peace conference on Syria, Geneva-2, will start in Switzerland. Its first stage was completed without result. However, the parties, despite their radical divergence of positions, are ready to continue the dialogue.
