Yevgeny Primakov on problems of migration in Russia

The Mercury Club session devoted to “Problems of Immigration in Modern Russia” took place in the Center of International Trade. Representatives of legislative and executive power of Russia, leading scientists in the sphere of migration policy, and representatives of social organizations, funds, and media participated in the session.

The chairman of the Mercury Club, the president of the Chamber of Commerce of Russia, Yevgeny Primakov, described problems of migration in Russia and possible solutions of them. According to Yugeny Primakov, a differentiated approach toward labor migrants is needed, depending on their qualification and demands of Russian economy.
