Polad Polad-zade: "Desalination is not the most expensive option for Crimea"

The deputy president of the Union of Watermen and Irrigators and former USSR minister of water resources Polad Polad-zade spoke about providing water resources to Crimea. According to the expert, one of the best ways to get fresh water in Crimea can the the desalination of water from the Azov sea. The republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol joined the Russian Federation on March 18, 2014. This brought onto the agenda questions of maintaining infrastructure, including water supply and waste removal, in the new territories.
