A senior research associate of the Russian institute of strategic research, the expert turkologist Irina Svistunova, told Vestnik Kavkaza in an interview at what stage of development Russian-Turkish relations are now. According to the expert of the RISS, in spite of disagreement on many questions, relations between Russia and Turkey are still in the phase of a "golden period."
