Georgy Toloraya, the head of the National Committee for BRICS Research, speaks about the agenda of BRICS and potential opportunities for economic development of the organization. On July 15th Vladimir Putin will take part in the BRICS summit in Fortaleza, Brazil. The summit is being held in the context of tense relations between Russia and its Western partners because of the crisis in Ukraine and constant attempts by the USA to put pressure on the EU to launch new economic sanctions against Russia.
