Ingushetia Day in Ramazan Pavilion

 

July 10th was Ingushetia Day in the Ramazan Pavilion on Poklonnaya Hill. The Ramazan Pavilion is an annual charity project which is aimed at presenting Islamic traditions and culture to Muscovites and guests of the capital. The campaign became an important event in the life of the Muslim Ummah. In 2013 more than 7000 people visited the Pavilion and tasted cuisines of various nations of the world. The head of Ingushetia, Yunus-Bek Yevkurov, came to present his republic. Isa Khamkhoyev, the mufti of the republic, Belan Khamchiyev, a member of the Federation Council, and Bekkhan Azdoyev, Ingushetia’s envoy to Moscow, were also present in the Pavilion. Guests watched a film about the history of Ingushetia. Young Koran readers performed their skills and wished all the best to elders of the republic.
