Vladimir Chizhov, the Russian permanent representative to the European Union, an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador, states that sanctions against Russia do not solve the main problem – de-escalation of the situation in Ukraine. Moreover, the diplomat believes that economic restrictions will do more harm to the EU than to Russia.
