The deputy president of the Russian Trade and Industry Chamber, Georgy Petrov, says that escalation of sanctions against Russia will influence the economy of the country. A new packet of sanctions of the EU against Russia began its operation on August 1st. On August 6th, 2014, President of Russia called for the interests of domestic producers to be provide for in the context of the EU and the USA’s sanctions against Russia. The government is developing a list of goods which will be forbidden to import into Russia.
