The deputy head of the Department of the CIS countries at the Russian State Humanitarian University (RSUH), Alexander Goushchin, states that the Minsk meeting of the heads of the Customs Union countries and the President of Ukraine was important. According to the expert, as a result of the meeting, for the first time the union has become the subject of international politics, which increases its weight in the international arena.
