Is Russia ready for an information warfare?

The director of the Center for Public Policy Research, the head of a department at the Institute of CIS Countries, Vladimir Yevseyev, talks about Russia's readiness for an information warfare. The expert believes that the information war against Russia began in 2008. In connection with the events in Ukraine it has intensified. Western countries, spreading rumors and false information, are attempting to isolate Russia politically and economically. All the attempts by Russia to resolve the situation in Ukraine are not taken into account. The work of Russian reporters who are objectively covering events occurring in eastern Ukraine is being interfered with.
