On October 26th early parliamentary elections took place in Ukraine. A round table was held, the participants of which discussed the results and possible consequences of the elections. The participants were Igor Borisov, the chairman of the Council of the Russian Social Institute for Election Law, a member of the Presidential Council for Development of Civil Society and Human Rights; Alexei Martynov, the director of the International Institute of the Newest States; Andrei Marchukov, a senior scientist of the Institute of Russian History of the RAS; and a sociologist and founder of the Research and Branding Group company Yevgeny Kopatko.
