Valery Gergiev: "International Tchaikovsky Competition provides an opportunity for young talents to express themselves"

The director of the Mariinsky Theatre, conductor and co-chair of the Organizing Committee of the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, Valery Gergiev, talked about the preparation process for the event, and also stressed that the competition itself is an excellent opportunity for young talents to express themselves. The Jubilee XV International Tchaikovsky Competition will be held in Moscow in the category Piano and Violin and in St. Petersburg in the category Cello and Vocal from June 15 to July 3, 2015. The competition is open to musicians from all countries.
