Anton Ishchenko: "The initiative to introduce ration cards is not timely"

A member of the State Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes, Anton Ishchenko, speaking about the need for ration cards in Russia, noted that the initiative of introducing them is not timely, because it should have been dealt with 10-15 years ago, when the state could show that, with a stable economy, the poor are supported. Also, according to the parliamentarian, it should not be ration cards, but social cards, so that this initiative would become more understandable for population.
