Alexey Fenenko: "Russia is doomed to be key rival of the United States"

Associate Professor of the Department of International Security of the Faculty of World Politics of the Moscow State University, Alexei Fenenko, speaking about how US-Russian relations are developing now, noted that the United States and Russia are destined to be rivals. On November 16, 1933, diplomatic relations between the USSR and the United States were established. Over the past 82 years, relations between our countries have experienced different times, but never before have relations between Moscow and Washington been at such a low point of interaction.
