Evgeny Bakhrevsky "Derbent is the point where civilizations overlap’’

This year, one of the oldest settlements in the country, Derbent, marks its 2000 year anniversary. The Deputy Director of the D. S. Likhachev Russian Research Institute for Cultural and Natural Heritage, the orientalist Evgeny Bakhrevsky, spoke about the importance of this settlement for the country.
