Igor Morozov on the conditions of ceasefire in Syria

A member of the Federation Council Committee on International Affairs, Igor Morozov, spoke about the conditions of a ceasefire in Syria, and said that this would only be possible if the US is able to ensure that the jihadists will leave the territory of the Syrian state. The talks between the representatives of the current government and the opposition in Syria have been ongoing since January 29th. In early February a temporary hitch in the negotiations was announced. They are expected to resume on February 25th.
