Sergey Lavrov: "Russia's actions in Syria have helped to change the situation in the country"

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Sergey Lavrov, spoke at the traditional press conference about the fight against terrorism which Russia leads, and noted that one of the key moments in 2015 was the initiative of Russian President Vladimir Putin for the formation of a broad anti-terrorism coalition under UN auspices. Also, according to the minister, the actions of the Russian Airspace forces helped to reverse the situation in Syria and provided a narrowing of the space controlled by terrorists.
