What will be new EU image after migration crisis?

By Vestnik Kavkaza

The Director General of the Center for Political Information, Alexei Mukhin, spoke about the influence of the migration crisis on the balance of power in the European Union. The European migration crisis continues to grow, and the European Union now has to reckon with the opinion of the states that are not members of the EU which were excluded from decision-making at the beginning of the European migration collapse. This is confirmed, for example, by the recent initiatives of German Chancellor Angela Merkel – Germany's willingness to speed up Turkey's accession to the EU, make it easier for Turkish citizens to obtain Schengen visas and to fund the refugees on its territory in exchange for the promise of the Turkish leadership to stop the flow of refugees to Europe.
