According to the newspaper, many Russians have arrived in Cyprus in the last few days in order to follow the unfolding events. The Russian community on Cyprus constitutes 35-40 thousand people and its economic role is very prominent. 

Vladimir Putin wants to control the money of Russian businessmen affiliated to him and will do his best to save the Cypriot banking system. It's clear that Moscow wants to intervene in the process, the article reads.
