The Financial Times published an article by John Reed headlined "Israel’s prime minister Netanyahu warns UK on relations with Iran."
Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu is very harsh and emotional when it comes to the Iranian nuclear programme, the author of the article writes.
"Israel won't allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons," John Reed cites Netanyahu as saying. At the same time, the head of the Israeli cabinet added that Israel doesn't want to use force against the Islamic Republic.
Netanyahu also warned Western powers against improving ties with Iran too soon. The United Kingdom would be better to wait until Iran stops calling for the destruction of the Israeli states before it improves ties with the country.
According to Netanyahu, Iran's policies under Rouhani are quite insane but masked by politeness, the article reads.
It's clear that Israel is afraid that western powers will lift the sanctions imposed on Iran in order to improve mutual ties, while the Islamic Republic doesn't meet its commitments.
