World press on Boston bombers (August 6, 2013)

The late suspected Boston bomber Tamerlan Tsarnayev subscribed to right-wing white supremacist literature and government conspiracy theories before launching the terrorist attack that killed three people, an article published by The Daily Mail reads.

Tsarnaev read extremist far-right literature that claimed  that "Hitler had a point," US investigators have found.

The 26-year-old terrorist also had materials that claimed the 9/11 attacks and the 1995 Oklahoma City bombing were the results of government conspiracies, the newspaper informs.

"Until now the pair are believed to have carried out the attacks due to their radical jihadist beliefs, the author of the article, Anna Edwards, writes.

"A spokesman for Tamerlan's mosque in Cambridge, Massachuessets, said Tamerlan only prayed there occasionally, and described him as an angry man who latched onto Islam," the author adds.
