On October 14, the 'Musical World of Kazakhstan' concert took place at the Catherine Hall of the Tsaritsyno Grand Palace in Moscow as part of the cultural and educational project 'Embassy evenings in Tsaritsyno'. It was organized by the National Foundation for Support of Rights Holders, the Tsaritsyno Museum and Heritage Site and the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Moscow.
Opening the event, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to the Russian Federation Imangali Tasmagambetov noted that cultural and humanitarian cooperation, to which the heads of two states attach great importance, remains an important direction for both countries.
"We are united by a single spiritual dimension, we are close and fraternal peoples," the ambassador stressed. "And it is gratifying that the masters of Kazakh art will perform music in the legendary hall today." The diplomat expressed his gratitude to the Tsaritsyno Museum and Heritage Site for the provision of a historical site and expressed confidence that the audience will enjoy the concert.
Director of the Tsaritsyno Museum Elizaveta Fokina recalled that 'Embassy evenings in Tsaritsyno' is a great opportunity to discover the culture of different countries and communicate with people, discuss various cultural aspects with them. "Any concert is an exchange of unique human energy, and it means a lot for us to invite the best Kazakh musicians to perform at Tsaritsyno. The music of Kazakhstan united us tonight, reminding us once again that culture has no boundaries," she emphasized.
"Our peoples are united by a single Eurasian space. Many Russian composers (Rimsky-Korsakov, Borodin) sought inspiration in Eastern music. And our Abay translated Pushkin and Lermontov into Kazakh. We have the longest border in the world, a common history. We have lived and will continue to live in peace and harmony," the outstanding Kazakh tenor, People's Artist of the USSR Alibek Dnishev said.
"It is a great honor for us to perform in such a beautiful hall with amazing acoustics. We are always pleased to come to Moscow and perform before a demanding capital public. Kazakh musicians have long glorified themselves and their country. And now we have a very talented young generation that will please you at today's concert," the opera singer, People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Republic of Tatarstan, State Prize Laureate of Kazakhstan Nurzhamal Usenbayeva confessed.
This evening, Kazakh and world masterpieces were also performed by Honored Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Aigul Ulkenbayeva (dombra), laureates of republican and international competitions Ida Kaplan (piano), Aigul Kosanova (vocal) and the Altyn Orda ensemble of kobyz players.
The evening was webcast live on the Kultura.RF, Odnoklassniki social network and on the Tsaritsyno website.
