The British publication The Telegraph wrote that while the United States does not know how to adjust its foreign policy, Russia and Iran are successfully increasing their influence in the world. The Western media are indignant at the fact that Bashar al-Assad, the current Syrian president, after four years of isolation went to Moscow, not to Washington, to thank the leadership of the country for their help in the fight against terrorists. The Obama administration is completely confused, trying to understand at what point their foreign policy has not justified itself.
Although it is clear that Russia is successfully fighting Islamic State in Syria, the US still continues to insist that the Kremlin's actions are doomed to failure. However, the strategy of the Russian leadership aimed at the protection of the Syrian state from the threat of terrorism and extremism is much more fruitful than all the American actions in Syria over the past year. The US still see themselves as leaders of the political solutions in the Middle East, which is why all Moscow’s attempts to negotiate with Washington on joint actions on the territory of the Syrian state have not been successful yet. Probably, sooner or later, the American leaders will recognize that the need for a coalition against the extremist threat to the world is more acute than the political and economic interests, as long as it was not too late.
The stakes that were made on Iran when signing the agreement on the state’s nuclear program don't seem to be justified. Instead of fully submitting to the will of the American leaders, Iran continues to cooperate with Russia, including on the Syrian issue, leaving Washington in the rear of world politics.
Europe still adheres to the US policy, but the EU is already beginning to understand the need to find ways to restore friendly relations with Russia, both political and economic. We are talking about energy supplies and about the crisis of migrants from the Middle East, and the problems of small and medium-sized business that appeared after the introduction of the Western sanctions against Russia. The United States cannot assist Europe with these issues, so it is also necessary to make the right choice. One way or another, Russia can provide unlimited opportunities to all its allies, while the United States unsuccessfully tries to regain lost ground.

The Turkish publication Today's Zaman writes about the forthcoming parliamentary elections in Turkey. After the failure of the plan of the ‘electoral chaos’ developed and applied by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for his Justice and Development Party to win a majority in the upcoming elections, the only thing that remains is to win by brute force. That means, an attempt will be made to falsify the election results.
If the rumors among the Turkish politicians are true, it is likely that attempts will be made by hacking software used for counting the votes. It is not known how far it is possible, but the AKP has less and less chance of winning, and there is less and less time to take some action to change the situation in their favor.
Speculation about the outcome of the elections in the Turkish parliament heats the already difficult situation in the Republic. Any wrong move by Erdogan or the opposition could lead to the beginning of a serious internal conflict that will forever change the image of the once-powerful nation located between Europe and the Middle East.
